[CLOSED] Joining on GUID's
In my SQL table the primary QUID key contains squirrely brackets {quid...} but the foreign QUID key does not. What's the best way to join them and why does one have them and the other not?

Thanks in advance.

Are you saying that the actual SQL tables some GUIDs have curly braces and some do not?

Or are you saying the WebFOCUS master file/synonym isn't showing them on some tables?

More specifics would help.

The data in SQL tables do not have the brackets but WF displays the data with brackets for the key fields(A38) but not the foreign keys(A36V).

Can you share the master file and sample data ?
Looks very weird for me that WF add brackets...
Maybe they are coming from you master file definition

You can't upload pictures to the forums #cuzIBI. Frowner

You have to upload them to a file sharing service (something like cloudinary.com) and then us the public link to that picture in the image URL.
