I've been having an issue with my ReportCaster and MR logon userid and password in the WebFOCUS Administration console.
When I first logon to the Admin console, and click on ReportCaster, Connection, I get an invalid userid and password. The userid and password that appear are admin, no password. If I change it to my site specific userid and enter the password, it connects. But, I can't save the changes I make, so it always reverts back to admin.
The same is true if I click on the WebFocus Client under Diagnostics. I have to enter my site specific credentials to connect, but also can't save those. I've been looking at this for two days, and could really use some fresh ideas.
I'm wondering if this could have anything to do with the fact that we use WFRS for authentication.
I appreciate any info.

We also have security of WFRS and had a similar issue once. It was an issue in are web.xml file for report caster. Found under ..../webapps/rcaster/WEB-INF ours was due to the fact we had changed our reporting server and even though we changed it on the screen and saved it the change was not actually saving in the web.xml file. Just a file to look at not sure if it will help.
