Hello guys,

I want to Filter my table based on a characteristic (currency).

I can do this by using the HTML-DropDown-Box and passing the value to the referenced report-procedure.

But I want to ask you if you know if there is a way to use Active PDF for this issue. In this case the PDF-Report should include a drop down box to select the characterisitc (currency). Because I would like to show only one currency in the report at one time. And with an drop down box every user would have an intuitive way to select an according currency.

So, is it possible do define a drop down box in an active PDF report for the definition of global variables(over the whole report)?

Hi Markus,

As far as i know Webfocus Active PDF is an easy way of designing interactive PDF reports, however it comes with limited features. In your case if you want to use drop-down controls inside PDF, then WebfocusEnable is the best option. The WebfocusEnable.swc (shockwave file) will have components like IBIComboBox, IBIListBox, IBIDatagrid etc which can be used to design a interactive Flash report (pdf). But in this case you need to either write the MXML code or can use Adobe Flash Builder. I hope this information is helpfull.
