I'm trying to develop a Group View in Dashboard in which the Launch Block contains a report that is "refreshed" nightly and not executed at launch. This would allow me to present the newest data in the report that appears at the Group View's launch. I've tried to use ReportCaster to distribute to the MRE, but the folder it places it in contains a date/timestamp... Which I can't dynamically update in the launch block's configuration. This is a Windows only configuration of 7.6.11 and FTP is not an option here. Any ideas? Thanks, DougThis message has been edited. Last edited by: Kerry,
I support multiple Information Builders customers across platforms with very varied configurations.
What you could do, is having report caster prepare the data in a standard directory. Then, when calling up the dashboard page, the only thing left to do is get the few records of prepared data and style it. That should also be very quick.
