I am trying to write hardcoded values in the output. Other than doing it in header/ footer, is there any other way out.

for example

*******************product

category**combined

efgh 800 300 100 400

I have used across and by for the matrix report.
The combined column is a kind of row-total
The required is to have multiple titles, for the combined column. can it be hardcoded from webfocus

0101 0102 0103
product
fi fi fi fi
category

DEFINE FILE [filename] and put the values in a new/virtual field...

If this doesn't apply, then please elaborate a bit more...
