I am creating a compound coordinate PDF report referencing quite a few external reports that I have linked together using a flowing format. Some of the external reports have data that flows on more than one page. The problem is when the data in one of those reports flows onto a second page, it doesn’t start a new page but overlaps that same field in the following entity’s report. Is there a way to ensure that the data will contine to flow onto new pages instead of continuing in the same section of the next entity’s report?
Thanks in advance! This message has been edited. Last edited by: Kathleen Butler,
Sorry for the late reply and thank you for your response.
I looked over the documentation, but I still cannot find a solution for my issue. I have all the reports (there are about 6 reports with links to external fex files) set to Flowing and they are all linked. In order to get the appearance I would like, all the fields are in the header since I don't want the table format. When I run it for one record, everything works fine. But, when the compound funcionality is used with multiple records, one report in the first record will end at the bottom of a page and then start back up in that particular report for the next record rather than flowing on to the next page. On the next page, the next report for that particular record will start.
So, basically, I would like a report component to continue onto the next page when a compound report is used. It doesn't seem to be a problem when the compound functionality is not used.
