When selecting 'Repeat Sort Value' in info assist user is able to get the repeated sorted values displayed EXCEPT when using the output of Active PDF. Has anyone experienced this issue? Found any workaround?

FYI - Our power users only have access to InfoAssist and are not able to edit code manually.

I just tried this in 8.1.05 and repeat sort values works in Active as well. What version are you running?

Tom, the following seven line program coded by finger shows that SET BYDISPLAY=ON clearly does not work for Active PDF. It works for HTML, AHTML, PDF, EXL2K, EXL07.

I would open a Tech Support case, using this sample code, which should be editable by a GUI tool.

Hello,

Francis is correct that BYDISPLAY does not work in Active PDF format for older versions of WebFOCUS. However this is a known issue that has been corrected in 8.1. If you require a backport to your version, you can open a Tech Support case to request it.

For many of us, what you consider "older" is actually "current". I feel these BUGS should be corrected via hot fixes to current versions and not only when someone requests a backport.
