TITLEs repeat after SUBHEAD
Does anyone know a method other than coding the titles in the SUBHEAD to get TITLEs to repeat after a SUBHEAD?

I remember this being a problem in the 80's when I coded reports - surely after 20 years there is an easier way round this problem.

Frank I agree with you there. PAGE-BREAK and HEADING is a trick you can use - but it does not work under all circumstances.

I would therefore be open to further suggestions.

Some things never change. Understanding where components (report heading & footing, page heading & footing, subhead, subfoot, subtotals, etc.) is the key. The components are the same, they go in the same places, so embedding column titles into subheadings is the only sure-fire way of getting them to (look like they) come AFTER the subhead (STILL.) Frank's comment is a way to get things to LOOK ok based on visual separation, but it still has to obey the rules. And it is not acceptable based on desired output in some instances.
Understandable that, because columns are unrelated to sorting phrases, they would come first. But it's still a pain---
