I have installed a new server computer. I created some admin user accounts (server aministrator, MRE administrators), When I log into report caster, I am seeing less options in new server. One of the administrator accounts is also getting error message that user doesnt exist. I followed the directions in documentations but still failing to figure out what am I doing wrong?
Has anybody seen this problem before? I have administrator role but when I change role attributes for report caster administrator, it gives me error message that I dont have enough permissions to perform this action. Info from our ReportCaster technicals: Sounds like you might be using external authorization. If you are a WF admin, you can confirm by going to ‘WebFOCUS Administration Console->Configuration->MR Security Settings->General’ screen and see if Authorization is set to External Directory.
If so, please try setting ‘SYNC_CASTER_ON_MRSIGNON’ to TRUE in ‘WebFOCUS Administration Console->Configuration->MR Security Settings->Advanced’ screen.
