I have just noticed something off when hiding and showing columns in AHTML. After you hide a column the option to show that column will be in the drop down menu for active reports. In that menu it will give you the option to 'Show all' and show the column(s) that you have hidden.

If you click on the column name it will restore that without any problems. But if you select the 'Show All' option, then any column that has NOPRINT will be shown, not just the column(s) that were hidden.

You can work around this by HOLDing the table, but I just found it interesting that it works this way.
