In light of the COVID-19 pandemic and the "social distancing"/"shelter in place" requirements to help slow the spread of the disease, has IBI cancelled/delayed Summit?
😷 🤒 🤧
Or is it just business as usual and there is no concern about the Corona?

Yesterday Frank Vella (CEO) distributed the following to our customers and partners, in it he noted that “…As far as our Summit event, we are exploring alternatives and will be following up soon with more details.”This message has been edited. Last edited by: FP Mod Chuck,

Perhaps its time to open it up globally so all can attend from any country remotely, and distance without the need to travel and without the massive expense.

Looks like it will be a virtual Summit and it will be broadcast FREE of charge. I just got an email from Frank Vella:
quote:
Each year, the Information Builders community comes together at Summit to learn about the latest industry trends and best practices, discover customer and partner use cases, and get insight into IBI’s company direction, product roadmap and new technology. This year, we remain committed to providing the same quality event to an even broader global audience. Due to the COVID-19 crisis, we decided to transform Summit into a virtual event. In advance of a press announcement going out tomorrow, I want to let you know firsthand what you should expect from our event.
The virtual experience will be on Tuesday, June 23 and Wednesday, June 24 and will be broadcast free of charge. It will kick off on Tuesday at 10:00 am EDT with our keynote presentation. We reformatted the agenda into a shorter timeframe but it is very similar to our traditional offering. It is comprised of 8 tracks with more than 70 one-hour sessions. Seven sessions will be running concurrently from noon to 6:00 pm EDT on Tuesday and 10:00 am to 5:15 pm EDT on Wednesday.
In addition, we will have our Solutions Pavilion and Social Lounge. You can book appointments for pre-conference activities and for our Expert Center in our Virtual Summit 2020 App! Sessions as well as our interactive experiences are only available to you, our loyal customers and partners.
Registration will open Tuesday, May 19. To learn more about IBI Virtual Summit 2020 click here. We look forward to another successful Summit and we hope you will join us. Together, we will make it a huge success!
Stay healthy,
