[CLOSED] Meta Data Date TYPE as ALHPA

Does anyone know why my date type SQL table's field is showing as ALPHA in meta data? Why webfocus is brining the field in as ALPHA?

Field Type Date, field name DateW

Metadata is coming out as:

A10
Usage A10V
Do we know when IBI is planning on coming up with SQL 2008 adopter where it will say SQL 2008 not 2005?

According to Techsupport, SQL Server 2008 is supported in V7.7

And is supported through 2005.
