Is there any way to customize the tooltip display value. Basically my need is to display the column values instead of column name(and this column is in a BY). This is a tabular report. I have tried something like this(plus a few more hit n trials, but each time I end up with a static tooltip ): -SET &TOOLTIP_VAL = J7.DIMENSION_TIMELU.LABEL
and then TABLE FILE QTRCLMETHOLD SUM . . . BY QTRCLMETHOLD.QTRCLMET.LABEL_TRIMED AS '&TOOLTIP_VAL'
We are using 8.009 version
Thanks in advance. This message has been edited. Last edited by: <Kathryn Henning>,

Tool tip works only with output in html format. If that is your output method, you can show almost anything as a tool tip. It is important that the values to be shown are alphanumeric. In your small example I am assuming that the field use as tool tip is indeed that. And note that tool tip is something quite different than field name (aka the AS-phrase).
