Gurus,
I am trying to create a simple report with running SUMs with the recent total on top grouped by a date..Using EMP data as eg.
  
TABLE FILE EMPLOYEE
SUM COMPUTE HIRED/I5= HIRED + CNT.HIRE_DATE    ;   
BY HIGHEST HIRE_DATE
END

OUTPUT
HIRE_DATE HIRED
82/08/01 1
82/07/01 2
82/05/01 3
82/04/01 5
82/02/02 6
82/01/04 8
81/11/02 9
81/07/01 11
80/06/02 12


What i really need is the Totals from top to bottom down somethign like this..Basically the totals as of that date..
HIRE_DATE HIRED
82/08/01 12
82/07/01 11
82/05/01 9
82/04/01 8
82/02/02 6
82/01/04 5
81/11/02 3
81/07/01 2
80/06/02 1


It sounds simple but, i can't think of what might be causing it not to work...
