How do I Concatenate Virtual Numeric Fields or Virtual AlphaNumeric Fields such as 5 10 18 to create a date from NN(5) NN(10) NN(18) into 2018/5/10 as YYMD.
Its trivial in Excel but seems overly complicated in InfoassistThis message has been edited. Last edited by: FP Mod Chuck,
Look in the doc for EDIT and concatenation. There’s nothing complex about the language or the syntax. Excel is neither a Business Intelligence platform nor an application development environment. You might be able to do a lot of things faster with Excel but in a BI application you have to account for a lot more than something that lives in a file on your laptop.
