What can we do to make the PDF reports smaller then they are being generated using the basic COMPOUNDing?

We have replaced the reports, which were previously generated using Oracle Report Builder, with WebFOCUS reporting (Yea!).

The downside is that the file sizes are now an average of 3.4 times bigger.

These are FTP'd to a server for future access which need to be opened directly, so, please, no "zipping" suggestions.

As you can see from the below information, we started the WebFOCUS version of these reports on Nov 14th.

Waz, IOU 3.4 something... That looks like it works. Cool

Do you know of ANY disadvantage of using ON instead of OFF? Sweating

Why would OFF be the default? Confused

From what I understand about it, it turns on the normal PDF compression.

The only difference would be that the PDF document is smaller and can't be edited by a text editor I guess.
