the customer is ADAMANT that our reports export to powerpoint (WHY i don't know). however, as far as i can determine, WebFOCUS doesn't have powerpoint available as an output format.

Dan, that was a big topic at the last advisory council meeting. lots of clients wanted it. You might contact your local office and get the update on when it will be available.

There is an additional link on this page to another page which offers a plug-in for powerpoint which sounds like it will do what you are looking to do except it calls a web page from Powerpoint instead of WebFOCUS exporting to Powerpoint. Excel lets you call a web page as a data source so this kind of does the same thing for Powerpoint.
I have never used this or seen this before so use your judgement. I just thought it might be something to look at.
