I have a report that I am listing customer information in the heading. If the second address line is blank I do not want to print the blank line. I have searched this site and found resolutions for HTML and PDF formats but not for EXL2K format.
My code is basically as follows:
HEADING
"Total Actual/Equivalent Units & Dollars for &BeginDate2 through &EndDate2"
"Compared to Last Year"
"For: <NAME"
" <ADDRESS_LINE_1"
" <ADDRESS_LINE_2"
" <CITY , <STATE <ZIP_CODE "
" "
This produces output as follows:
Report Title For: ABC COMPANY 123 ANYWHERE STREET
ANYWHERE, STATE 12345
I want it to look as follows:
Report Title For: ABC COMPANY 123 ANYWHERE STREET ANYWHERE, STATE 12345
Any help would be greatly appreciated. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Glenn C.,
WebFOCUS 7.7.03 Windows all output (Excel, HTML, PDF)
You could try using the WHEN statement, but it does not work for HEADING, just SUBHEAD, SUBFOOT, etc.
TABLE FILE CAR
SUM
SALES
BY COUNTRY NOPRINT PAGE-BREAK
BY CAR NOPRINT
ON COUNTRY SUBHEAD
"HEADING STYLE 1"
"<COUNTRY"
WHEN COUNTRY EQ 'ENGLAND'
ON COUNTRY SUBHEAD
"HEADING STYLE 2"
"<COUNTRY"
"<CAR"
WHEN COUNTRY NE 'ENGLAND'
END
