I recently updated the application server, Developer Studio, App Studio and client to 8.008.
Dev and App Studio are both WIndows 2008 servers. Application server is also running on Windows 2008 server.
No problems during the install aside from it taking a long time. No errors and everything appeared to be running with no problems.
A user attempted to create a Synonym in Developer Studio and got a Version Mismatch message:
The release of the server your are trying to connect to could be incompatible with the client release. Some features may be disabled or won't function.
Are you sure you want to continue?
Client: Release M728008B Gen 157 Server: Release M728008D Gen 159
After she clicks Yes the synonym is created fine. It looks like something didn't get updated properly.
Any suggestions?

The gen levels that you reference are compatible. This is only a warning message and can be ignored by clicking once on the option "Do not ask this question again".
