[CLOSED] Storage Location for reports in WF
Hi All,
We are migrating the reports from 714 to 769 and there seems to be huge history which needs to be migrated as well. Where and how can we find as to where these reports exist in the WF. Would they be stored in some location as file manager or objects or blobs. Is there any IBI tool using which we can migrate these history reports as well? Pls advice.

Thanks
LG

Hi,

There is a mgration utility within your installation that will help you migrate everything you have defined: users, user reports, reporting objects....
It is under you IBI menu in windows

Thanks for the reply, but just to be more clear, we are looking at getting all the reports [HTML/XLS/PDF] that have been generated for the past 6-7 years from the WF 714 (we are not sure whether this is an object/clob/location on WF Server) and to store it to some other location like File Server/SAN. So pls let us know as to where these reports would be stored in WF server when the reports are run using Report Caster.
Thanks,
LG

It depends on what you have as your method of distributing reports.
If it is by email then, alas, no history has been kept.
If it is by means of the report library then that's the thing to look at. Although there are things in place that may have removed obsolete or expired reports. Also users could have removed the reports after retrieving from the library.
But the library is the only place where WF will keep the reports alive for a while. The rest is up to the user.
