Semi Colon in the Address Bar
in the address bar i tried typing in
http://myurl.com/?IBIF_ex=myreport&myvars=test;test123

is this a webfocus issue?

You didn't explain what unexpected behaviour occurred so we can't tell you if it's a WebFOCUS issue.

Meanwhile, try googling this: "semicolon IN URL" - you'll get quite a few results, which suggests any error you're getting may not be a WebFOCUS issue.

If you have a dialogue Manager variable that contains a semicolon, and it is used in a fex call, it gets translated to %3B, the ISO hex representation of semicolon, so there shouldn't be a problem there. If you have a drill-down on a data element that contains a semi-colon, the same translation probably occurs as well.
