Is there any way we could get the list of all the segments in a reporting objects ? Is there any table in repository that i can query from ?

A reporting object is stored as a .fex file in the repository. I have not found a way to actually report against the contents of the fex file only the properties that are stored in the repository. You may want to open a case with techsupport to see if they have a way.
