I'm looking for the functionality in App Studio that allows you to populate a html drop down list from a fex file.
In Dev Studio this was simple. Create a procedure that output the list to PCHOLD XML format. Then on the properties of the drop down select dynamic and chose external procedure.
Any ideas how to do this is App Studio 8009_hotfix?
Many Thanks.

First set up a new request in the tasks and animations panel. Under "Requests" click on the "new" icon and select "External Request" and then "WebFOCUS Procedure". Select the procedure that you wish to use from the dialog and click OK. Notice that the request name will briefly be "Requestn" before being changed to the fex name (if it's short enough?). If you wish to change the request name then click on the name to edit as "normal".
Now go to the setting panel and click "Dynamic" data type. Notice that the "Request" combo has the request that you just created (or should do!) Select this request and continue much the same as before by selecting the value and display fields plus the other options.
Good luck.
