[SOLVED] Maintain and WebSphere
Does anyone have any experience, or suggestions on running maintain programs through WebSphere ?

Are there any particular IBI portlets required ?

Any specific HTTP Server setup ?

The environment we are looking at has WebSphere on one machine and the WF reporting Server on another. I haven't found much info on that configuration, nor on Maintain and WebSphere, for that matter.

Thoughts, suggestions, caveats ?

Thanks,

We use WebSphere. We have a couple of Maintains and they run just fine. IGS installed all of the IBM pieces and I didn't have to ask for anything different.

A bit late perhaps, but I haven't been able to get on to the forum much of late.
One of my clients also uses websphere, on Z/OS, with the reporting server running on the unix implementation for mainframe (USS). This works fine, also for maintain. But mind you, when you're using releases up to and including 714, you need to have the cgi module installed, since the support for maintain through servlets is virtually non-existent in these older releases. As of 76 you can also use the servlets to run your maintain. We have not had any problem whatsoever with this configuration.
