I'm not sure if any of you have had this issue before, but I have both DevStudio(8009) and AppStudio(8009) installed on my work laptop (Windows 7 Enterprise). I also have admin access for our BI Portal, so no restrictions.
When I go into DevStudio to get to the BI Portal, and then try to create a new portal or edit an existing one it works just fine. On the other hand, if I try to use AppStudio to access the BI Portal and then create a new portal or edit an existing one I always get the following error:
Make sure you are connecting to same reporting server from both. Also if you remove your tool layer and directly goto URL http://localhost:8080/ibi_apps/signin can you access webfocus? Also check if contnet is accessing correct client repository.
I'm connecting to the same reporting server (as far as I know (not sure how to check)) within both environments. I can log in to the specific server having the issues via a web browser versus the tool layer as you described with the URL you gave, but if I try to log in literally using 'localhost:8080' versus the server that doesn't allow me to manipulate portals it doesn't let me log in. Also, how do I go about checking if our Content area is accessing the correct client repo? Sorry, I'm new to this.
Thanks in advance!
8.2.02M (production), 8.2.02M (test), Windows 10, all outputs.
