I just recently posted a discussion asking for assistance about how to determine whether or not we are in dalight savings time or in standard time. Being on the East Coast of the USA this would equate to EDT or EST. Tony sent me a link to a web page which contains the info I need to write a DEFINE FUNCTION in FOCUS. This gave me an idea.
I thought it might be a good idea to have a section on Focal Point where we can post DEFINE FUNCTION code we create which would be helpful to others in the future. Having a DEFINE FUNCTION to determine whether or not we are under daylight savings time might be useful to others ONCE I GET IT WRITTEN.
Is it possible to create a section for this on Focal Point?
Thanks!
Thanks!

a library of user-written functions i like that alot Mickey They've really downplayed the FocusOnDevelopers articles section, which is a shame, and this would be a great place to have a grouping on function, with article, example, and downloadable .fex.

GREAT idea! I started a notebook of functions that I've collected from user groups and message boards. Would be happy to post the few that I have if we can get this going.

This is actually part of a larger project I have been trying to tackle for a little while now - organizing all of the solutions throughout the Focal Point topics/posts. What other categories would you like to see created? Let me know, and during the meantime, we'll start working on the Define suggestion.
Regarding the Focus on Developers site, we're working to get the link back up on the main Developer Center. By the way, there are three new articles posted there (one by Mickey regarding PDF, etc.).
