I never realized that it is a problem to have a field named as "HOLD" when doing a TABLE FILE PRINT FIELD1 FIELD2 HOLD END
Apparently I have a field that is named HOLD and its throwing an error saying it can't find the field right after that. (FOC002) A WORD IS NOT RECOGNIZED: SALES_REP (FOC009) INCOMPLETE REQUEST STATEMENT
TABLE FILE SQLOUT
PRINT CUSTOMER_NAM
HOLD
SALES_REP
END
Any thoughts? This message has been edited. Last edited by: vaayu,
There are several options, for example you could use a define to rename the field. You could also choose to just enter 'HOL' as FOCUS automatically guesses the field HOLD is meant (this would not have my preference, especially when there are maybe other field starting with 'HOL' (at this moment or maybe later on).
