I get the following error message when trying to access report caster. What is the problem and how can I resolve it?

looks as tho you should open a case with Tech Support and get some help from the caster experts there. Have you done that?

The root cause in the error that you posted may be of help to resolving the problem if you haven't already.

The stack trace in the root cause section of your error says:

java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: 0
at ibi.broker.utilx.DSTCookie.getIWAY_Server(DSTCookie.java:778)
at ibi.broker.beans.DSTAuthenticate.getUserInfoFromMR_COOKIE(DSTAuthenticate.java:589)

So it appears that you are getting an ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException exception when it is trying to retrieve your credentials from a cookie.

Check the Managed Reporting credentials and Reporting Server credentials that you have specified within the ReportCaster Server Configuration. If they are incorrect, that could cause you to have an unsuccessful login and thus have no cookie generated. Then when ReportCaster looks for the cookie, it doesn't find it and throws an exception.

Another possibility is that if you have a trusted configuration, it is using the credentials that are in the ReportCaster server configuration but that is not a valid user on the iWay Reporting server.

Those are just some thoughts. As susannah suggested, it would probably be best to open a ticket with IBI tech support.
