When a user who has not logged on before goes into the dashboard the directory created is not the username as it was before under 7.1 but the user name padded out with plus signs to a length of 128.

We are using sql server as a mre repository and I have checked wf_mrusers.userid (which co-incidentally is format A128V) and this does not appear with the plus signs appended.

Once the directory is created it works fine which is why it has taken us so long to find that this may be a problem.

Any ideas anyone?

I mean I have heard of C++ but this is ridiculous!

Ideas?

Yes, raise a case with IB so that they can castigate the people responsible for -
1. Coding it like that in the first place
2. For allowing it through the "testing" phase
3. For releasing a product with such a flaw

And before anybody mentions it, I know maintain works fine Wink
