Hi, We are in 7.6.8 and the users run all their fexes/reports from sharepoint. When you click on a fex/report, you have the following options: Run, Run Deferred, Schedule, Library Versions, Add to Favorites, Properties. When I clicked on schedule, it told me I did not have access to this. The libary is not currently installed but we plan on using it. My question is, when a users clicks on schedule, can they run that report on demand and have it stored in the library? This message has been edited. Last edited by: Kerry,

You mentioned you could received a message stating you do not have access. Log into Managed Reporting Administration and check to see if you have the schedule privilege assigned to your userid. This is a common reason for the message.
There are no real disadvantages in using SharePoint. It is just one of the available presentation methods to deliver WebFOCUS applications. SharePoint allows you to mix WebFOCUS content with other application content to provide a single interface for users. If your company has invested in SharePoint as a standard, WebFOCUS leverages the investment. SharePoint access can coexist with other presentation methods such as traditional WebFOCUS BI Dashboards, self service, web services, etc. so it does not restrict you solely to SharePoint.
Thank you all! They use sharepoint here because they can run all their different products through it and they have the knowledge base here to use it. They run their mre through sharepoint also. I have since had report caster library turned on and I'm playing with it now. Thanks again.
Kathy
