Is there any way to rename the standard reports folder to something customizable?
On the same topic, is there any way to get objects to display directly under the standard reports folder (in the domain tree) without having to first go through a subfolder? This message has been edited. Last edited by: ChannyS,
There is a file, called ENmreadm.txt which is located in the WebFOCUS76/ibi_html/javaassist/intl/EN directory, that contains the translation of the fixed MRE texts. In this file the term 'Standard Reports' can be translated to whatever you want it to be. This is valid for the Domain builder page only.
For the Domains page you can modify another file, ENmre.txt, located in the same directory. In this file look for the term StdRep and change the translation to whatever you need it to be.
The EN in the file/directory name stands for the language that is available.
Be advised that with every new release of the product, you would have to change this again.
I haven't found a way to place items directly under the stdrep folder.
Hope this helps ...

That's a very valid concern. I don't know if this would even resolve the issue if you were using the Realm Driver for you repository. But, if IBI ever came up with a better way for creating their Repository than plain old HTML files, there could be issues. AND, as GamP mentions, you are changing system files which would be overwritten with any software updates. We have done this type of customization for some of our other files, and have had to COMPLETELY document the changes (which files and what exact changes were made) in order to redo those files again after updating software. It's all a manual process.
