I have a vertical bar graph with data text showing the numerical values above each bar. I would like to suppress the printing of the numbers when the values is zero, and only have non-zero values printed above the bars.
You will need to reset your data values to NULLS using the MISSING attribute and then use the VZERO setting accordingly. If you are using a SUM in your graph then you may have to do a pre-select to arrive at the summated values first
Use either COMPUTE or DEFINE
SUMMATED_COL/P12.2 MISSING ON = IF current_field EQ 0 THEN MISSING ELSE current_field;
Please note that there was a bug in 5.2.3 that prevented the missing values showing correctly (e.g. missing and not zero) but was corrected in 5.3.2 but resurfaced in early 7 versions.
