I have setup a synonym for a dimension in a cube that we have. I would like to show the alias for the dimension member and I am a bit confused on how to set this up.
Looking at the help you can use Dimension_Caption to display the alias but I am confused as to where to set this up. Can I add this to the synonym?
If anyone can point me in the right direction that would be great. Please excuse my lack of understanding.

Please check out the Data Adminstration manual for your platform (might want to add that to your signature). See the upper right-hand corner doc link on this page. There is a lot of information in the Essbase section.
You can also do the Advanced Search on Dimension_Caption. That link is also in the upper right-hand corner.
