Hello!

I've created a dashboard (HTML format), and included several reports from various data sources. Each report with 3 columns (amount current, budget and prior), and only one row of data. The final goal was to align all reports/rows, and show all the rows as one unique report with the same width. So far so good. The issue arises when there are rows with percentage values, which change the width of the rows, causing the report to look like a staircase. To fix that, since all my values had two decimals, I tried using the "custom" padding option. The problem is that it applies padding to all rows(cells), and not just the selected report/row. Has anyone come across this issue? Thanks

Luiz

Hi Luiz,

This is a friendly follow-up regarding your "Padding" question.

InfoAssist has Cell Padding that affects all cells and Squeeze. Squeeze is
a feature that makes the column the maximum width of the data. If you turn
Squeeze off, then you will get the column width that is declared in the
master file. For example if last_name is formated A50, but the widest data
is 25 characters, with squeeze on, the column will be apx 25 characters. With
squeeze off, the column will take 50 spaces.

Please give this a try and post a note with your results.

Thanks,

Can you see if Squeeze off will give you the desired column widths? Else,
squeeze off and the format option to declare a new field size.
