Hello all We are having a problem with how the dashboard is working, and I am hoping that someone has run into this before.

Here is the problem:

We have user that are logging into an application that has a link to the WF Dashboard. The users click on the link and the dashboard opens in a new window. So when they close the browser, that the dashboard in, the browser goes away. When they click the link again and they get an error message that looks something like this.

And if they click on the "Login" at the bottom of the error message...they go straight to the dashboard with no errors.

What We'd like is for the user not to get the error message and for eachtime the link is clicked the user go directly to the dashboard. Any assistance that could be offered with this issue would be greatly appreciated.

This is some additional information about our setup

BID - 7.6.8

Webserver - solaris
Authentication - Trusted (http header variable)
Authorization – Active Directory

Reporting Server (windows) – security OFF

Thanks,

Timothy

Hi Tim,

I forwarded this one to our internals and was told that the behavior sounds strange, so if you haven't done so, the best channel for assistance would be to open a case with Information Builders' Customer Support Services. You may either call at 1-800-739-6130, or access online at InfoResponse.

Cheers,

Kerry
