[SHARING] Use of IBM/ FileNet P8 Data Source (SQL Server
Hello,

Has anyone used IBM aka FileNet P8 (MS SQL Server (2K and 2005) as your data source with any degree of success? Any issues?

Would like to trade stories and/or experiences.

Thanks in advance,
Rick

I don't believe IBI sells a separate specific adapter for the FileNet stuff, but if its SQl Server 2000 / 2005 then that's the appropriate adapter and the data source will be accessed like any other SQL server data source.

Our document imaging system uses Filenet, but uses Oracle as its DBMS. The scanning portion that interfaces with it uses SQL Server 2005 so we use that adapter for accessing the scanning data.

Darin
