[CLOSED] Kill "zombie" connections in DB
Hi,
Is there anyway to specify in webfocus how many connections/sessions are kept waiting alive in a DB like db2 or netezza?
Reporting Server opens several connections while doing queries, but these one keeps waiting for a long time in database and i'm afraid the maximum number of sessions on database could be reached.
I've research in adpaters parameters and couldn't find something that kill a session in DB.

Thanks for your atention.

as2010,

If you go to the Workspace on the reporting server you can set the agent properties to handle things like that. you can limit DB time, overall time, number of agents etc. This is probably where you want to handle things. Certain things can probably only be done in the database though. If this is sufficient, then maybe you want to look at putting in some controls specific to the DB.
