As of December 1, 2020, Focal Point is retired and repurposed as a reference repository. We value the wealth of knowledge that's been shared here over the years. You'll continue to have access to this treasure trove of knowledge, for search purposes only.

Here's an HTML file that uses JavaScript to determine the BIP Name and Title and then show it in a div. If you add this HTML file to the Repository Content area, you will be able to embed it in the BIP banner. The JavaScript was invented by one of my excellent colleagues (developer not user, please!). I found no documentation about NewPageViewName or NewPageViewTitle. I hope IBI pipes in and tells us where the documentation is.
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
<title></title>
<style>
body { padding:0px; margin: 0px; }
#bannerTitle {
width: 98%;
font-family: Calibri, Tahoma, Verdana,Arial;
font-size: 14pt;
font-weight: bold;
color: rgb(0,99,88);
}
</style>
<script>
window.onload = function ()
{
// Capture BIP Name and Title
var w = (window.opener) ? window.opener.top : window.top;
if(w.hasOwnProperty('NewPageViewName'))
{
pBipName = w.NewPageViewName;
pBipTitle = w.NewPageViewTitle;
}
document.getElementById('bannerTitle').innerHTML = pBipTitle;
}
</script>
</head>
<body>
<div id="bannerTitle"></div>
</body>
