Has anyone out there had a chance to test drive the 7702 feature EXPANDBYROW? This allows you to create accordian reports that expand vertically. It is very slick and simple to implement. Documentation is here
I don't see any info on usage limitations. I'm running what would be considered a relatively small report in our context and I get the infamous "A script on this page is causing your web browser to run slowly" error.
Have any of you run in to this? If so, have you found a workaround?
Thanky kindly,

I would expect the same limitations as for all active reports
quote:
Report Size
Active Report performance is constrained by the current browser capabilities and varies in different browsers.
Performance is a function of the number of records and columns in the report.
The following lists the recommended number of records:
Internet Explorer: 5,000 Records = 25 records per page * 200 pages.
FireFox: 20,000 Records = 25 records per page * 800 pages.
The recommended number of columns is: 25 columns.

I have the same problem. My report has far fewer columns and rows than the 5,000 limit for Active report!
