I run a report where the user is asked for a yearmonth value and then there should be a calcultation on that field to get two new dates.
-DEFAULT &YEARMONTH='200702'; -*calculate actual monthend and previous monthend -SET &FDM='&YEARMONTH'||'01'; -SET &YR=EDIT('&YEARMONTH.EVAL','9999'); -SET &ACMONTH=EDIT('&YEARMONTH.EVAL','$$$$99'); -* what do I do next to get ...&ACTMONTHEND='20070228' ..and... ...&PREVMONTEND='20070131'
If I put in '200701' this would be '20070131' and '20061231'...
any help would be nice
