Is it possible to have a quicklink or dashboard in the Output or Report portlet of an Oracle Portal? I can get specific reports to show up as the default in either portlet but not a quicklink. When they are selected they always open a new browser. My goal is to assign a dashboard to specific users in a portlet without them having to navigate to it to get it to open. I have set gotoPersonalViewOnLogin set to TRUE.

Chuck,

Your question appears to be concentrated on the Oracle portal? Perhaps a forum for that might provide an answer? ... or am I misreading your question?

The Oracle Portlets are defined by IBI and are good at effortlessly delivering Reports via single sign-on. I am hoping there is a way to easily extend that functionality to complete dashboards. I'll take this up with techsupport.

Ah, you mean "WebFOCUS Open Services portlets" deployed in an Oracle 10g Portal Server?

I guess that you have performed a search using the link in the top right of this topic?

The issue is on it's way to IBI developers.
