I am implementing a bar-graph that only displays a limited range of the values on the Y-axis. However, some values lie outside of that range, but they get clipped by the GRAPH engine to stay within range.
The problem I'm facing is that in the result it's impossible to see the difference between a value that's just within range and one that is quite a bit out of range! Both have their bars closed.
Is there a way to clearly show that a displayed value (bar) is clipped?
In below sample code, you can see in the bottom table that the values for BMW, DATSUN, MASERATI and TOYOTA were clipped (> +/-15%), while the value for ALFA ROMEO looks exactly the same but lies within the displayed range:
