[CLOSED] Excel (via direct retrieval) adapter does not recognize formulas in cells
I am trying to create a synonym for an Excel spreadsheet that has formulas in some cells.
When I use an ODBC adapter, the formulas get translated to values, but when I use the Excel (via direct retrieval) adapter, it returns blanks (or zeros).
Has anyone had better luck?
I don't want to have to manipulate the worksheet before reading it.
Unfortunately, ODBC requires naming the physical file in the ODBC data sources panel and also creating named ranges in the worksheet. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Francis Mariani,
