Can I use &DATEM and &DATEYY in Report Caster? The RC Manuals say: Use the &YYMD amper
variable instead of &DATE.

Does that hold for these 2 variables also? If so how else can I get the month and year using Dialogue Manager?

Thanks

Rick,

It depends on what you want to use them for. &YYMD is a string of numbers. &DATE has the slashes in it, more properly used for a heading.

You can use &YYMD and the EDIT function to strip the year and month into separate variables.

Or you can try using the &DATEM and &DATEYY variables and see what happens. Eeker

&DATEM and &DATEYY don't seem to cause Report Caster any problems.

Thanks
