Sorry, but I'm not sure what you're asking. Do you want to convert &&X to &X? I mean, you could -SET &X = &&X; though I can't figure why you would need to do that. Have I misinterpreted your question?

no Prarie.. i know where i can put the parameters in web caster, but i have not tried that yet... can you give me more information on this area..how the parameters from web caster interface with the fex file.
is it compare by the local variable from web caster to the local variable of my fex file???
It supplies the varibles as it you were prompted for them. On the left side you put the varible name...do not put the & ,on the right you put what the value should be...no quote marks. Give it a try.

it WORKS!!!!! but i duno if there's a way to interface the parameter section, so that i dont have to type in the variable value instead i put it in the box by variable.(value1,value2).. that can minimize the human error at the lowest level.
