I am new to Webfocus and am trying to save and then repopulate a multi-select list with previously saved values. I am using Oracle to save the parameters and then trying to set them the next time the user goes to the HTML page. I have asked about the "Save Selection" option in the HTML painter, but so far this control is disabled on the HTML painter toolbar and I have not been able to "enable" it to see if this works for what I am trying to do. How can I read the selected values from the previous run (from Oracle or any db is fine) and then set the "selected" property on the HTML list page control.This message has been edited. KeithD If you create your report inside MRE/CUS/UAS and create an html page inside there as well the save button should be enabled other wise I do not believe it will be enabled as save is tied to MRE/CUS/UAS. the user also needs to sign into the MRE/CUS/UAS (dashboard) to save there parameters. Thanks, kinda weird that you have to develop in MR. Is there any way to save the parameters (possibly a list for one parameter) to Oracle and then let the client select which "set" they want to use for a report instead of having to use the "My reports"? Keith, WebFOCUS method of "saving" the report is to create a new fex in the users MRE folder consisting of a bunch of -SET, one for each variable, followed by an -INCLUDE of the fex required. You could try and mimic this or alternatively (if you know JavaScript etc.) read the DOM and write off the various parms using AJAX. T
