I have installed WF V7.6 on my system and I configured the database(Oracle 8i). When I create a procedure and try executing some code, it works fine and gives output for the first 3 to 4 times. After that I dont get to see the output, the new window whcih is supposed to show the output does not open. What could be the cause ? It doesnt even execute simple dialogue manager statements after the fourth time. It works fine again if I close the developer studio and reopen it.
They are always of the form X.Y.Z in the case of 76 this currently means 7.6.0 thru 7.6.8
You must be a lot more specific about what you have.
You do not say if this is Dev Studio or a full WebFOCUS client server install. You do not say what platform, XP,Windows server version, linux version or what.
For an issue such as this your first port of call should be the Information Builders help desk.
In Developer studio click: windows->general->reporting check the option "use new browser to execute"
if it doesnt help, see your local PC windows processes (in window task manager), even if all your internet explorer windows are closed you could see a "hanging" iexplore.exe task, killing it should also resolve the issue
