[WORKAROUND] Maintain is trying to run /ibi_cgi/ibiweb.exe
Hi all,

we're on a W2008 box with WF 7.6.11, IIS 7.0, jakarta 1.2.30 and Tomcat 6.0.24. The redirection from IIS to Tomcat works fine, eg running the MNTIVP procedure from then /ibi_apps/ AdHoc option it calls it with the servername/ibi_apps/WFServlet, but all of a sudden, when clicking on a button in a (any)Maintain procedure, WF tries to run /ibi_cgi/ibiweb.exe. This occurs even if I run Tomcat stand-alone, by connecting thru port 8080. When running on my local PC with Vista, Apache HTTP Server, Jakarta 1.2.28 and Tomcat 6.0.20, everything works fine.

Any clues, anybody?

Does your application use the calendar? If so, please replace the three old JS files with the new ones. Also make sure that you don't have any URLs that are referencing old CGI addresses.

Mark,

this occurs even with the MNTIVP procedure which is shipped with WF. We performed a clean install a couple of days ago and everything worked fine. We have'nt used the CGI since early 2008. However, early this morning, HP (who runs the server) performed a security patch.

Look inside your cgipath.js . And make sure your cache is cleared.

We had a similar problem with maintain and ending up commenting out the CGI line and adding the WebFOCUS Servlet line. Now the app runs with the servlet and all the CGI concerns have gone away. We have two pages one an Approval page and one a launch page. We had to change both. Here is the code:
well I tried to show the code but it will not upload. Send me you email address and I'll send it to you if you think it will help.

I ended up re-installing the Reporting Server and the WF Client and that solved it. Nobody knows what HP did to the server.
