I have the following code that creates a EXL2K formatted report, and opens it on MS Word:
SET HTMLFORMTYPE=DOC
APP PREPENDPATH IBISAMP
-RUN
-*
TABLE FILE GGSALES
PRINT *
ON TABLE HOLD FORMAT EXL2K
IF RECORDLIMIT EQ 5
END
-RUN
-*
-mrnoedit begin
-HTMLFORM BEGIN
!IBI.FIL.HOLD;
-HTMLFROM END
-mrnoedit end
I now need to show another report, underneath the current report.
I've tried using the COMPOUND setting:
SET HTMLFORMTYPE=DOC
APP PREPENDPATH IBISAMP
-RUN
-*
SET COMPOUND = OPEN
TABLE FILE GGSALES
PRINT *
ON TABLE HOLD FORMAT EXL2K
IF RECORDLIMIT EQ 5
END
-RUN
-*
SET COMPOUND = CLOSE
TABLE FILE GGSALES
PRINT *
ON TABLE HOLD FORMAT EXL2K
IF RECORDLIMIT EQ 1
END
-RUN
-*
-mrnoedit begin
-HTMLFORM BEGIN
!IBI.FIL.HOLD;
-HTMLFROM END
-mrnoedit end
However this program yields an empty report in MS Word.
Any ideas on how I can get a 2nd report to appear, below my current report, in MS Word?This message has been edited. Last edited by: Kerry,

I flipped EXL2K to HTMTABLE and obtained a 'compound' effect in MS Word:
SET HTMLFORMTYPE=DOC
APP PREPENDPATH IBISAMP
-RUN
-*
TABLE FILE GGSALES
"1"
PRINT *
ON TABLE HOLD AS TEMP1 FORMAT HTMTABLE
IF RECORDLIMIT EQ 5
END
-RUN
-*
TABLE FILE GGSALES
"2"
PRINT ST
PRODUCT
DATE
ON TABLE HOLD AS TEMP2 FORMAT HTMTABLE
IF RECORDLIMIT EQ 1
END
-RUN
-*
-mrnoedit begin
-HTMLFORM BEGIN
!IBI.FIL.TEMP1;
!IBI.FIL.TEMP2;
-HTMLFROM END
-mrnoedit end
In my actual code, that this code model's, I needed to turn off the internal CSS creation, (SET HTMLCSS = OFF), to get the reports to render correctly in MS Word.
