It's such a pain to find the "fex" file in the File Name column because it isn't in any kind of order. Is there a way to sort this data or any other place to find it?This message has been edited. Last edited by: <Kathryn Henning>,

In dev studio you can sort the files easily. In 8, you just click on the "Type" column heading to sort the files by file type...

In v7.7.05 and earlier, you cannot sort on the File Name column - attempting this will sort the contents by "Name", which is the user selected name, not the MRE file name.
This is probably what Lois finds to be such a pain, and I agree.

Ah sorry, I misread the post. If you have the permissions, the easiest way to do this in would be to just go through a shared folder in explorer and go to the MRE directory, open the htm file for that domain and search for your file to see what the associated name is (still a pain). At least this way you can CTRL-F to find your fex rather than search through hundreds of files.
EDIT: This is a WF7 workaround. V8 works fine. -JThis message has been edited. Last edited by: J,

J, you cannot do this in v8 because there no longer is an MRE HTML file - the MRE components are now in a database...

That is true, but the file sorting also works correctly in WF8 so there isn't a need to do it there.
My previous post is a WF7 workaround.

Wonderful - the first sign of improvement in Dev Studio?
